Who am I?
I'm a system manager at Universidade Federal da Bahia. I love programming and I work with Perl since early 2005. As my under graduation conclusion job I developed what is now known as Foswiki Stand Alone: an architecture design that makes foswiki core independent of the used runtime technology (like CGI, FastCGI, ModPerl, etc) and makes it very easy to develop support for them.What do I want?

In order to achieve my goal I studied core code a lot. Currently I'm improving runtime engines but I'm also a lot interested in performance enhancements.Why do I want to do it?
I'm with Foswiki from day one and all the interests I had with TWiki turned to it since then. I think foswiki is a fantastic tool and, as system manager, I want it to be more light, fast and less resource hungry.Other Notes
