Changing a function name in Meta that was too obscure. The Meta class is exported to extensions authors, and it's critical that methods are clearly documented and well named.

Re-opened and set to being worked on by Gilmar, because the unit tests fail.

The name you put and its documentation is far better! The tests that are failing now are exactly the same that were failing before and that's due to Item1537. So I'm closing this.
