Item13090: extensions tab needs to be rendered differently vs the rest of the tabs
Current State: Confirmed
Released In: n/a
The Extensions tab really does not work out following along the same automatically created form layout as the rest of the config editor.
Installing extensions, enabling them and configuring them happens in three separate places. These belong together.

Leaving this unconfirmed. I think we need to figure out how best to rearrange thes tabs. Simple enable/disable separate from install/upgrade and separated again from detailed extension configuration makes more sense to me.
However the automatic tab layout is pretty difficult to comprehend, so something needs to be done. I'm setting it to "Proposal required" but not because it really does, but we don't have a state that reflects "needs more analysis"

Why so formal now? The current UI didn't follow any proposal either, nor any process what so ever to make sue we don't end up with a spaghetti UI.

Michael, I said "I'm setting it to "Proposal required" but not because it really does, but we don't have a state that reflects "needs more analysis"
I'm not being formal, this does not needs a proposal. It needs more analysis on how to do the layout. Sorry, I'll set it back to "New". just trying to be clever with the state.
