Item9911: SEARCH format is parsed through formatTime causing all sorts of problems

Priority: CurrentState: AppliesTo: Component: WaitingFor:
Urgent Closed Engine
Below example returns the date of the found topic instead of the email address of the person.

Works on 1.0.10

But not on 1.1.1

Very serious bug because we have so many searches where we show the email address of a person. We have at least 500 topics where this type of search create mailto lists.

And if USERINFO is this bad - how many other macros do not work inside a SEARCH?

Further analysis shows that the problem is not related to USERINFO

A plain SEARCH with a format expands $email and any other time string that formatTime understands

This is a 1.1.2 immediate release trigger. This is awful.

I have fixed the problem.

I have linked to here from known issues topic and attached a working Search.pm.

Unit tests will be checked into Item9915
