Item8811: SEARCH search string translates .* to Index. Old cruft from Athens

I have been digging into the reason for this old hack.

It was introduced in (tm)wiki Athens. And not even used there because the WebIndex topic in Athens used nosearch="on".

It makes no sense today and IF someone should have an old web where they use this, they will see the string ".*" instead of "Index".

It seems to be old unused cruft that noone dared removing.

So Mr defender of backwards compatibility (me) should be the right one to remove this code cruft.
