Item8712: outdenting bullet point lists in edit mode which have previously been saved does not correctly with Firefox
Priority: Enhancement
Current State: No Action Required
Released In: n/a
Target Release: minor
Hi,
The Wysiwyg editor does not handle the outdenting of bullet points correctly
when editing previoulsy saved bullets with Firefox or
SeaMonkey. New bullet points work okay.
For example if I have saved a page which has bullet points like
- one
- two
- two point one
- two point two
- three
- three point one
- three point one point one
Then if I try to outdent two point one the bullet disappears.
With "three point one point one " outdenting has no effect.
Could we have better support for wysiwyg and Firefox /
SeaMonkey?
Thanks.

This is a long standing TinyMCE bug. I'm afraid it isn't resolved in the latest 3.3 version either:
http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/examples/full.php
Hopefully 2010 will see Foswiki able to offer
CKEditor as well as TinyMCE.
Confirmed, but there's not much we can do other than poke Moxiecode's bugtracker (not that this has been very useful in the past).

Just an observation: when you outdent, you can position the cursor at the beginning of the outdented list item that has lost its bullet, then press enter to get it back again.
