Item2239: Problem: edit (wysiwyg) -> WikiText -> save = changes lost
Priority: Low
Current State: Closed
Released In:
Target Release: n/a
After the upgrade to foswiki 1.0.7. we´re having an "editor-problem":
- You start editing a topic using the wysiwyg-editor (via edit-button or while creating a new topic),
- then switch with the WikiText-Button to the raw-editor (because WikiText-editing is what you really wanted to do),
- you do some editing
- and then use the save button.
Doing the save-operation all your changes get lost.
The problem can be reproduces with firefox 3.5.3 and ie 6.0.29 (I only tried those two ones).
Foswiki Version is 1.0.7.

Hello Micha,
You seem to be using old plugins. This issue relates to
NatEditPlugin.
Please upgrade your Nat* plugins, particularly
NatEditPlugin,
NatSkinPlugin,
NatSkin,
JQueryPlugin. Let us know how you go.

Thanks, upgrading
NatEdit helped!
Now is works very well again.
(We´re using
PatternSkin so I didn´t really put a focus on the Nat-Stuff - not understanding that
NatEdit ist great
WikiText-Editor).
