When I create a new test topic in the Sandbox Web then the topic parent gets assigned as WebTopicCreator automatically. This topic does not exist anymore. In fact, whenever a new topic is created using WebCreateNewTopic then the topic parent gets assigned as WebTopicCreator. We need to remove this.
WebTopicCreator was deprecated before the Foswiki project was forked. The topic is clear that it should not be used, and that WebCreateNewTopic in each individual web should be used instead. If I use WebCreateNewTopic I am prompted for the topic parent.

I am unclear what is being reported here. Can you clarify?

When I create a new topic using the WebCreateNewTopic page and even though I specify a topic parent, I can still see WebTopicCreator in the bread crumb at the top. Please see this attachment.

I am not able to attach the image, the request is timing out.

-- GuruprasadIyer - 23 Oct 2009

I am unable to replicate the problem on our production 1.0.7 wiki, a fresh release branch or trunk svn install.

Lowering to normal. If we get more information that justifies urgent, please feel free to raise it again.

GuruprasadIyer, are you running a wiki that was upgraded from TWiki? Also, are you using a custom skin?

-- PaulHarvey - 25 Oct 2009
No, I have fresh install of Foswiki 1.0.7 and am using the regular Pattern skin. -- GuruprasadIyer - 26 Oct 2009

I am closing this issue as this is issue is not appearing in version 1.0.8, thanks for all the help!
