This is a follow-on from Item1980. Sticky tags or literal tags within custom XML Tags (registered by other plugins) makes WysiwygPlugin disable the TinyMCE wysiwyg editor. That is better than destroying content, but WysiwygPlugin ought to be able to cope with that.
