Since PublishPlugin doesn't provide any control over the exported files for the normal user, it would be a great enhancement to enable attaching the output files (in single file mode; pdf, zip, tgz) to a topic of the user's choice, thus allowing him, to set access permissions and to delete the files.

Up to now, a web gets exported with the user's rights and stored afterwards in a (potentially) world-readable directory (the link to the file is given in the publich history topic), bypassing Foswiki's access restrictions (see discussion at Item1658).


I like the idea, and anyone who wants to have a shot at it ought to go ahead and implement it.
