Item1155: Webtopbar looks awful in IE6 because of transparent png

Someone have recently done something to the graphic in the top bar so it again looks awful in IE6.

It seems transparent PNGs should be avoided at all costs.

Transparent GIF works fine and it is years ago the patents ran out on gif so there is no reason not to use them anymore

If I throw back the old foswiki-logo.png from 1.0.0 everything looks fine and it is also a png.

So it is the file that is wrong

The fix was to take the png and redo the definition of what was transparent.

Arthur I used Paint Shop Pro 7 for it so you may want to play with which program to use for this purpose.

It seems pngs do work when done a specific way. And the file also got half the size when I did it.
