When creating a new web, it's not obvious that "Include in global search" also means "Include in left bar web list". It is more intuitive that the web list comes from the site map and that the option "List on SiteMap page" would control "List in left bar". I can understand that changing WEBLIST to use SITEMAPLIST may break some sites, but using NOSEARCHALL is not intuitive and should be mentioned when creating s new web.
