Item10661: Typo in System.ManagingUsers breaks site if following example

There is a typo in your user documentation at http://foswiki.org/System/ManagingUsers.

In section 'Manually approving registrations' there is a sample for the templates/messages.approval.tmpl There the first line should read:

%TMPL:INCLUDE{"messages"}%

(the initial % is missing)

Using the given example will inactivate all Foswiki messages apart from the user registration confirmation.

As I do not have writing permission to this wiki-site I cannot correct this myself.

This was just fixed in the distributed topic on Monday. http://trac.foswiki.org/changeset/11482 I'll fix it on foswiki.org, though the distributed docs won't get fixed until 1.1.4.
