Incorrect report from UpdatesPlugin

Hi,

I get the following warning:

Warning: Updates found for 1 extension(s): -1

Normally, when I then review the installed extensions, I can see and update the extensions that have been modified, but now I don't see any updated extensions.

But when I choose "Ignore for 7 days", the message returns after seven days. Is there a way to reset the update mechanism / to see why Foswiki thinks an exension needs to be updated?

There were some known issues with the UpdatesPlugin. These are hopefully fixed in the version that shipped with Foswiki 2.1.6. You don't report the version of Foswiki.

If you are running on 2.1.6 you might need to delete the FOSWIKI_UPDATESPLUGIN cookie to clear some old data.

It's indeed 2.1.6. I'll give it a try by deleting the cookie.

I had exactly the same problem with Foswiki 2.1.6 and Firefox 68.2 on Linux.

I didn't see a way to deleted the specific cookie, so I deleted all 4 cookies for my site and reloaded the Foswiki-Page in the browser. The message was still there. Maybe at this point I could have fixed it by restarting firefox and re-login into Foswiki – I don't know.

I decided to just deleted all Cookies and Website data, restarted firefox, logged back into Foswiki and the message was gone.
