Foswiki - The free and open source enterprise wiki
Foswiki is a wiki, supporting the editing of web pages in an ordinary web browser, by end users. In fact, you are viewing a Foswiki right now. What makes Foswiki special is that it supports the embedding of active and passive macros that enhance the page content (e.g., with global and/or dynamic information) and allow end-users to build applications that store and process data in a structured manner. 21 Jun 2009: Foswiki Release 1.0.6 has been released. This 3rd patch release includes 47 bug fixes and 6 enhancements including a major enhancement in cross-site scripting prevention that closes an important security hole identified by the Red Hat security team. Furthermore we have worked with the 'Pootle' team to create a new translation framework that makes it much easier to contribute user interface translations to new languages.
The Foswiki community is dedicated to democratic governance, free of commercial influence and trademark issues.
We want our marketing finally to live up to our product and be as good.
