Item9764: 1.1. configure page doesn't work in older and even newer Konqueror browsers
Priority: Normal
Current State: Closed
Released In: 2.0.0
Target Release: major
Applies To: Engine
Component: Configure
Branches:
It's not clear if full Konqueror support is indeed required. However, the following is now reported here, so the discussion and maybe resulting fixes can take place.
Please see attached picture reflecting behaviour on Konqueror 3.5.9 (KDE 3.5.10). The issue is relevant as long as javascript is active. If javascript is disabled configure will display everything on one page.
Right area remains empty if javascript is enabled on Konqueror 3.5.9 (Debian Lenny)

It appears that the configure Javascript is not compatible with konqueor. It's better with 4.5.5 than with 3.5.9 (Debian Lenny). But still not working. On 4.5.5 the main content "disappears" when clicking any of the horizontal tabs, such as in Extensions, or Security.

Setting to Fixed in 1.2. Javascript / Configure UI is simplified in 1.2, and Configure seems to work fine under Konqueor. Not sure if it's konqueor updates, or configuration changes.
