Item9694: With the cleaned up user page, the data form should be at the bottom again

Once the new user topic was full of cruft. The user form was put at the top to have all relevant data at first sight.
Now this layout makes no longer sense. It is strange to show the form and below it the page title (user name).

I do not agree.
I reverted a similar change only a month ago.
Us that upgrade and have 1000+ user topics with form on top would really like to keep it this way.
See it from the users. They click on another users name to see his details like email address (which is not hidden behind a firewall), phone number, room number etc.
It may be the user topic is cleaned up. But that is only for new users. And the minute they add something to their user page the form is pushed below the fold.
It may look nice and it may solve the problem that the headline is not below the user form. But for users in a business these user pages are actually heavily used. There is a reason for the user names to be wikiwords so you can click on them. What you want to see when you click is the user form at the top with the important information.
Whatever personal links the user may add in the topic is not important for others than the user himself.
If this change is not reverted it means that upgraders will have to tailor this user view each time, and I will need to take some counter measures for the upgraders - like not including the new user view template in the upgrade package.
It was a good idea to put the user form at the top. And it still is. Please implement a design where the form is at the top.

I have reverted for 1.1. The form at the top is a fix for a broken design and fixes current user topics. But we should not continue like this. This needs a proper fix.

A moot discussion as both is sub-optimal. User profile pages should have a slick view template of its own, similar to personal info addon, where form data is part of the design and the standard dataform itself hidden away.

Michael. That I can agree 100% on. That would be the best.
