Item783: The "Create new topic" icon always creates topics in the Home web

Regardless of what web the current topic is in, using the "Create new topic" icon to create a new topic will create the page in the Home web.

In which webs? In trunk?

It occurred to me today from the FAQ page. It has happened to me before but I do not recall which page I was on. The destination link for the icon is http://foswiki.org/Home/WebCreateNewTopic?topicparent=<CurrentPage> -- IsaacLin - 16 Jan 2009

These are the steps I followed:

Visit Community.FAQ page.
Select the "Create new topic" icon. I am directed to http://foswiki.org/Home/WebCreateNewTopic?topicparent=FAQ and the title of the page is "Create New Topic in Home Web".

Can you clarify what additional information you require?

Although this topic is now closed, I found the same happening due to a typo in one of the foswikisite skin template files -- see Tasks.Item1432
