first up pseudo-install, then unit tests and then we'll see.

This report is so generic I do not know what to do with it.

We may as well say get Foswiki working on Linux.

We need a bug report per item.

Looking at the description I will instead of closing this change the scope to what I think Sven intended.

"Get a Foswiki development environment working in Windows" so one can do pseudo-install, and run unit tests under windows.

I will not let this block any 1.0.0 release though.

It is not a condition for users to run under windows that you can pseudo-install and the unit tests will most likely fail because they are written to be run on Linux.

Downgrading to normal

actually, no, I was serious - this bug was for whatever I needed to do to make foswiki run - it turned out some of the things i found and fixed were in configure, and caused issues for all platforms, and the one commit made for this bug was Strawberry perl specific.

Like OSX, there is no way to get all the unit tests to pass yet - it will require some work to make the store understand that case is not significant.

And so this is done - I already worked to get more unit tests passing on OSX (down to 2), and we will later get more working under windows, but thats for another time.
