that expands to: Exclamation mark nop in form fields are not removed when not in TEXT

this appears to me to be fixed, both on 1.0.6 and trunk, but it could do with a unit test to ensure it doesn't regress.

It is not fixed in trunk, I can still see the '!' in the browser window title.
