I am missing a PLUGINRELEASE tag similar to the PLUGINVERSION tag. Basically the VERSION variable of a plugin is the svn revision number and the RELEASE variable a free-form number given by the plugin author. There's access to the first but not so for the latter. As most plugin topics name the RELEASE variable and do not refer to the VERSION as it is increased automatically by the svn system this would come in handy. Last not least the plugin topics should make use of these variables thus removing redundancy.

Thanks for pointing this out, Michael. This is delivered by the changes to fix Item1198.
