Item13666: Links wihin double square brackets are broken in my installation
Priority: Normal
Current State: No Action Required
Released In: n/a
Target Release: n/a
In my new 2.0.1 installation with migrated data using bulk_copy, renamed links are no longer working.
For instance :
[[http://gnu.org][GNU]]
appears as new, and the create link is :
http://doc.4next.ch/bin/edit/Http://gnu/Org?topicparent=System.NatEditHelpText
Tested also with pattern skin, same thing.
Apparently on foswiki.org this is working :
GNU

Please check your
LocalSite.cfg. What is the setting for LinkProtocolPattern? It should look like this:
$Foswiki::cfg{LinkProtocolPattern} = '(file|ftp|gopher|https|http|irc|mailto|news|nntp|telnet)';

I've confirmed that I can recreate your symptoms by damaging that setting.

Yes, that is right : I've added vnc|ssh|rdp|sftp|mysql to it
(very handy to start an external tool from a wiki link...)

This was working well with my previous install (1.1.8)

Any chance you have a typo in your new setting? I changed my system to be
$Foswiki::cfg{LinkProtocolPattern} = '(file|ftp|gopher|https|http|irc|mailto|news|nntp|telnet|vnc|ssh|rdp|sftp|mysql)';
and it's still working fine. Could you paste in your exact setting here?
