Item11060: System topic example broken (with SEARCH connector at least)

I am trying to built a application using the dataforms and JQGrid.

I have installed and enabled JQgrid plugin. When I go to the JQgrid plugin page and look at the example it looks something like this

If i understand correctly the grid should show the list of all users in the above grid. It does not happen.

Similarly when I try to use the %GRID{} in my app page, it results in only to title bar using columns as per my data form but no data inside.

What am I doing wrong ?

First guess: maybe the form="foo" creates a form='foo' query instead of form.name='foo' query which SEARCH connector needs
