... as it makes use of global variables that are not reseted on a new call. Could be the use off various global $style hash references aren't cleaned up either. Not sure if this is intentional. At least this is a potential memory leak.

I've checked in a fix so that the css is at least added to the page again in persistent perl situations. The other stuff might need a more general rewrite to get rid of this massive use of global variables.
