Jhotdraw can't save

I have installed JHotDrawPlugin on Foswiki, Apache 2.2

when I use %drawing% a link is created to the drawing

Clicking on the link brings up the drawing editor.

when I go to 'save and exit' in the editor, I get the message, "save .drae failed save .gif failed"

Is this a common problem with an easy soluton?

Thanks

JC
No.

There are a few things we need to know; first, is your server a windows or a osx box? There are known issues with these boxen. Second, what messages, if any, are in the webserver logfiles after the failed save?

We have similar problem here. When I went to 'save and exit' in the editor, I got message "Saving .draw file /foswiki/pub/Main/MyTopic/TestDraw1.draw" and the editor kept running never exit.

the log below showed unknow user:
| 2009-05-06T02:42:44Z info | unknown | upload | System.JHotDrawPlugin | ERASER2.gif | 127.0.0.1 |

  • My site is running on Ubuntu 8.4 server, Apache 2.x (is there a plugin to show the system info? so we can report question easily)
  • This site is running Foswiki version Foswiki-1.0.5, Sat, 25 Apr 2009, build 3705, Plugin API version 2.0.

I found the page: http://foswiki.org/Tasks/Item415, and fix my problem by changing TemplateLogin to ApacheLogin
