How to change suppress certain hits from search results?

Can I make specific pages (like Main.TeamMeetings*) not appear in any search results? That's our main source of search result "spam".

When I'm using the search box (in Pattern Skin) to search for a word, then the result page always lists the Main web first, followed by results from other webs. Unfortunately, there are many hits in the Main web that I don't want to see. I don't want to remove the Main web from the global search scope, because there are other pages in the Main web that should be included in the result of such global searches.

Alternatively, can I somehow determine the order of the webs in the search result? It seems that when I use the search field (in the top-right corner of Pattern Skin) then the order of the webs is not always the same.

Answer

The %SEARCH macro allows you to specify a list of topics to exclude form the search. I'm not aware of any way to change the order the webs are searched in, however.
