\n\r in binary attachments gets converted to \n

Hello,
if I upload a binary file (e.g. a .pdf) to my Foswiki and download it again, all \n\r (\r\n) sequences get converted to \n only. Is this just a configuration issue (and, if yes, where do I have to configure it?)

Are you actually running Version 1.1.0 as entered in the report? This release has some serious issues and really ought to be upgraded to 1.1.2.

How do you download the PDF? Do you access the file directly via pub ( your.site.com/pub/Web/Topic/Some.PDF ) Or it the file served using the Foswiki viewfile script?

Are you running on Windows on the Foswiki server? I seem to recall some crlf encoding issues fixed in 1.1.1 or 1.1.2.

Hi, thanks for the fast answer. Yes, I am running 1.1.0. The PDF is acessed via pub. So, the next step for me is to update the Foswiki server to 1.1.2 and to have a look whether the problem remains.

After an upgrade to 1.1.2, the problem is resolved.
