Foswiki Site Skin Navigation Menu per Web

I am using FoswikiSiteSkin and editted the Navigation Menu @ FoswikiSiteSkinNavigationTemplate. This was one I only had one web. Now I am adding more webs for other groups that have a different navigation requirement.

Is it possible to have create a different Navigation Template for each web? If not, I guess the only option is to have the NavigationTemplate point to each web instead of main topic categories like it does now.

Answer

You can either edit viewtopbar.foswikisite.tmpl where the include to FoswikiSiteSkinNavigationTemplate is set, or (simpler) create a FoswikiSiteSkinNavigationTemplate topic in each web and change System.FoswikiSiteSkinNavigationTemplate to use %TMPL:INCLUDE{"%WEB%.FoswikiSiteSkinNavigation"}%.

Need More Info

I did as you suggested by creating a FoswikiSiteSkinNavigationTemplate topic in each web and then adding your line of code to the System topic of the same name. However, this doesn't work. It just removes the bar from each web, including the system web. The Topic in System web, when viewed, simple shows %<nop>TMPL:INCLUDE{"System.FoswikiSiteSkinNavigation"}% as raw text. There is no navigation bar. What am I doing wrong?
