This question about Using an extension: Answered

How do I put the TOPIC in the top bar of my page?

I have migrated my wiki from a very old TWiki to the current Foswiki, and on the whole I am pleased enough for now, except for one thing: I am used to having the Web and Topic in large letters at the top of each page. I tried to insert

\%WEB\%.\%TOPIC\%

into the WebTopBar, but the topic came out as WebTopBar instead of the title/topic of the real page.

Is there an easy way to do this or do I have to get into the woods of CSS and skin programming to achieve this simple goal ?

Try using %BASEWEB% and %BASETOPIC% That will pick up the including topic names instead of the included topic.

Yes, that did the trick! Thank you.
