Mirror a web based on a a query including vield_values_ and other stuff

I need to mirror a web for distribution outside. To do this I need to do a complicated query against a set of different forms selecting topics based form values and other stuff. I don't quite see that MirrorWebPlugin does that out of the box, and the architecture doesn't seem to support it either because the rules don't seen to permit this kind of querying. Am I right?

Is there some other way?
It very much depends on what you are trying to do. The MirrorWebPlugin architecture was designed to be extensible, in that what you can plug in new rules (written in perl), and what you do in those rules is up to you - you can both query, and also transform, the topics being processed. What you can't realistically do is arbitrarily transform the web i.e. generate a new set of topic based on the web being mirrored; though even that might be possible.

So, without really knowing what you are trying to do, I'd say that it was possible with the MirrorWebPlugin wink
