Spreadsheet plugin functionality

I am looking for a way to work with spreadsheets in FosWiki.

Thought the ExceltImportExport plug in would do it

That just lets me view an attached spreadsheet, not get in there and edit and save as far as I can tell.

Is there anyway to embed Excel as on object in a form?

Exporting from Excel is great but if it just lets me view, that doesn't help much, part of the value of a Wiki is to give people ways to share and update the info without having to open attachments

As an object, as in the OLE sense? No, browsers generally don't support OLE embeddings (though IE does, through ActiveX). Failing that, you might want to consider using WebDAV to open your attachments in native applications.
