ACP throws a "Bad Request: GET denied for save"
When following the instructions for altering PatternSkin
Pressing the button on Step 3 yields the dreaded
Bad Request: GET denied for save
The plugin documentation topic needs some work. The link "Update user data XML" issues a "save" using a browser GET (ie clicking a link), which is now restricted to prevent certain browser attacks. The only way to issue a save is by using a form that issues a POST type request.
The plugin does seem to be working other than the example. The purpose of the example is to cause a topic save to update the attachment. The same effect can be accomplished by going through an edit/save cycle.

A new version (2.3.2) of AttachContentPlugin
has been uploaded to Foswiki.org. The example has been corrected, and the documentation updated to show how to implement a save button, avoiding the GET denied for save
Note that as you reported, the same issue exists in PatternSkin
. It has been fixed in the unreleased version of PatternSkin
and will be picked up in Foswiki 1.1 and 1.0.10.
