This question about Topic Markup Language and applications: Task filed

Links use MediaWiki Syntax

Embedded links in text items for the timeline plugin need to be coded like Mediawiki, i.e.:
[[TopicName | link text]]
[http://example.com/external | external link text]

Beside user confusion, this makes hierarchical webs difficult to use in links, as it assumes the current web when constructing the URL, then appends your web hierarchy after that.

[[OtherWeb.RelatedTopic | details ]]

becomes a link to

http://example.com/bin/view/Main/OtherWeb.RelatedTopic

Internally we're sidestepping the issue by using external links with full URLs, as only coders are using the plugin for now, but as it becomes noticed it would be nice to have consistent link styles in here.
What's your question?

This should have been a bug report against EasyTimelinePlugin, my error. I'll create that task instead.
