Hello, I made a mistake and create a new web as a sub-web of system
I could delete it with the "Delete topic" function out of "More topic actions"

But in the "WebLeftBar" it still remains in the lower part, where the webs are listed.

When I am editing "WebLeftBarWebsList"it looks like that:

% I N C L U D E { " % S Y S T E M W E B % . W e b L e f t B a r W e b s L i s t " } %

So, how can I remove an item(sub-web) from the web-part of WebLeftBar.

Yours Jens

I suspect that you did not actually delete that web but rather a topic in it (possibly WebHome?). The web list displayed by WebLeftBarWebsList is automatically generated which suggest the web was not deleted. Go to the WebPreferences topic of the web you were trying to delete and look down at the very bottom of the page under "Tools" and there should be link that says "Rename, move or delete this web". With the default Foswiki skin, that's how you delete a web. If you are using NatSkin, there is an item under the Admin menu to delete the web.
