problems/confusion with the Configure-Webinterface, Installation NatSkin

I have an Foswiki 1.0.5 installation and installed some Plugins using the Configure-Webinterface

First:

It's a little bit confusing why some installed Plugins are only highlighted with a bold font and others have a green row and theire normal "Install"-buttons are replaced by a "Re-install"-button.

Both kinds of installed plugins seems to work and have no error-messages at the Topic System/InstalledPlugins.

Second:

I tried several times to install the NatSkin, but this installation-step tooks so much time, I let it work much than a quarter of a hour, but at a point it didn't actually continue.

It tries to install the TWiki-Version of the FamFamFamContrib, although it loaded the Foswiki-Version.

The same way it expects the BreadCrumbsPlugin at /lib/TWiki/Plugins/BreadCrumbsPlugin.pm instead of /lib/Foswiki/Plugins/BreadCrumbsPlugin.pm.

Therefrom it loads the installer-script for the BreadCrumbsPlugin and reinstall it(in the right Foswiki-folders).

Here is the grey highlighted Installerscript-output on the Webinterface:

Running from configure, disabling CPAN

After that there is much grey colored place... but no text...

p.s: I have little problems when I copy-and-paste text into the Wysiwyg-Editor with the verbatim-mode. The editor makes to much empty pre-tags, that I can only fix in the raw-edit.

Installing the NatSkinPlugin/NatSkin/NatEditPlugin using the installer-script on the command-line works. But the installer-script searchs on the false directory. I think the dependencies in the NatSkin_installer, NatSkinPlugin_installer and the NatEditPlugin_installer for BreadCrumbsPlugin, FilterPlugin, FlexWebListPlugin, GluePlugin and IfDefinedPlugin in the installer-script aren't right.

In the installer-script of the NatSkin is also a dependency to TWiki::Plugins::FamFamFamContrib.

And what is with the recommended JQueryTWistyPlugin?

I have make a Task about that. See Tasks.Item1579

-- StephaniePlatz - 07 May 2009

NatSkin has been ported to Foswiki. JQueryTwistyPlugin is deprecated. Please use TwistyPlugin. NatSkin switches it to jQuery mode automatically.
