PUBLISH_WEB variable in configtopic not supported?

I am using Foswiki-1.1.5, Tue, 10 Apr 2012, build 14595, Plugin API version 2.2 (Foswiki on a stick)

And I use PublishPlugin (2.4.0, $Rev: 15237 (2012-07-31) $):

Publshing works fine when I publish from the supplied <nop>PublishPlugin page using the form.

I have set up a configtopic and find that, whatever value I set for PUBLISH_WEB, publication is attepted from the Main web.

I experimented a little through the rest interface and the issue appears to be that the list of webs is

• taken from the query parameters in Publish.pm
• passed to Publisher->publish as a list of webs
• and not updated in _loadConfigTopic() which parses configtopic.

I don't see this listed as a known problem and I can believe I am doing something wrong.

Suggestions welcome.

The UI has changed a lot since this question is posted, so I'm closing it as I believe the issue is solved in the latest release of the plugin.
