This question about Using an extension: Answered

Error: no such plugin serialpager

After installing the required CPAN modules as well as upgrading to the latest SOLRPlugin code from SVN Trunk, I now have a working SolrSearch page.

However, there is an odd error on this page:

Error: no such plugin serialpager

A web search turned up a match in this IRC transcript: http://irclogs.foswiki.org/bin/irclogger_log/foswiki?date=2011-12-05,Mon&text=on

According to the IRC chat, JQSerialPagerContrib is missing.

Perhaps this would have been installed if I had upgraded SOLRPlugin via the normal configure method? In any case, I don't see JQSerialPagerContrib in the list of extensions I can install via configure.

I found a reference to JQSerialPagerContrib in http://foswiki.org/Tasks/Item11139 but it looks like the extension hasn't been published yet.

Should I just ignore this for now?

Made a release: JQSerialPagerContrib. This has been externalized into an extension of its own. It formerly was an integral part of SolrPlugin.

I had to force configure to save twice (probably due to the odd way in which I installed things). No more error.
