Import many topics in a Classification new web

It makes big sense for us to use ClassificationPlugin. Our topics are now organized in a bunch of webs and subwebs, for organizational and security purposes. I've done some testing with a newly created "Classificated" (?) web, it does the job, especially with NatSkin smile

Is there a way to import tons of topics from other webs into this Classificated web ?

Also, is it possible to organize topics into this Classificated web and some Classificated subwebs in order to maintain our security organisation (per groups permissions), while keeping tags and categories ? A possible - while not optimal - solution would be to manage permissions per-topic, since the NatSkinEdit make it easily possible.

Thanks in advance !

My first thought for you is to take a look at CopyContrib as this would help you copy/merge topics into your new Classified web. Does your existing content already use DataForms? If so, you might consider simply adding the special fields provided by ClassificationPlugin to your existing DataForm definitions. Then you could add the classification info when the topics are next edited. If you find you need to update or modify a bunch of topic form definitions and values and would like to do this as a bulk action, you might take a look at GlobalReplacePlugin. This can be a bit tricky to use (much of it's power requires use of regular expressions) but reach out if you have trouble and I can give you some help.
