LDAPContrib with ldm slapd backend

Dear All,

I am trying to integrate LDAPContrib with my existing cantral authentication system running on OpenLDAP. As with any modern OpenLDAP implementation, there is no db backend any more, but an ldm one.

However, LDAPContrib insists on having DB_File installed, means it seems to be geared to interface with db (Berkeley). At the same time, I have not been able to be get LDAP authejtication with LDAPContrib going, deapte many other applications using it OpenLDAP successfully for authentication: There is not even any log output in LDAP!

Is LDAPContrib compatible with ldm in OpenLDAP?

Thank you,

Chris

You will have to install the dependencies of this package no matter of what LDAP servre you contact. These two are separate.

LdapContrib uses DB_File to cache some IDs locally. So there is no reason LdapContrib should not be compatible with OpenLDAP.
