Modify NewUserTemplate

I have followed the instructions on the UserFormHelp, copied the UserForm and NewUserTemplate to the Main Web, but I cannot really edit them. Can I only modify them in the tmpl file? So not from the usual web view? That's a bit annoying. Is there any other way to do that?

edit: I noticed that this is hidden in the META-Fields of the file, but I cannot access that from the web-interface. Could somebody please send me the txt-file from this foswiki so I can adapt it to my use? Thanks.

You can look at the topic source on any topic by using the URL Param raw=all

If you change the UserForm, then you should be able to apply the new form.
  1. Edit the UserForm and save your changes
  2. Edit the NewUserTemplat
    • Click the "Replace Form" button at the bottom of the form.

Thanks you, the hint with the raw=all was a good idea and helped me a lot. I also found a way to use the PersonalInfoView Template, and it is now working like I wanted it.
