MichaelBuchholz Would Like to Check-in
Who am I?
I am working in this office building since November 1998. My job here was supporting the NOC team in anything, they do. From the beginning, perl was my main language, so i can say, i am quite expierienced.
About 2008, we decided to have a WIKI for internal documentations and have chosen TWiki, because it's perl based.
Some years later, we changed to Foswiki.
I did little development since then, building a few plugins - something, that the world doesn't need, but our NOC appreciated it, to pick up the phone and have a landing page displayed for the calling customer.
Actually, i finished another tiny plugin, that the world might like and i have seen a little bug and something, that isn't needed any longer in another Plugin, that i would like to fix.
What do I want?
write access to the foswiki github account for the following repositories or tools:
- Access:
- Access:
- Access: wikiplugins
What can I do?
Programming languages:
C since 1989
Perl since 1998
Postscript little expierience. Just made some forms many years ago
HTML, Javascript, JQuery, SQL (Oracle,
PostGreSQL)
Why do I want to do it?
Since we are using Foswiki in our department, there have sometimes been a request for something, where no plugin existed. I have seen things, that didn't work well.
Some of my work is only useful for ourselves, others might be appreciated by more people.
I'd like to bring the
FlowchartPlugin into 2019 (Browsers support SVG natively, so converting the SVG to PNG and adding linklists is stonage)
But most of all: I, and with me, the company, that i am working for, am benefitting from open source since more than 20 years.
I always tried to give something back.
It's time, to do that for Foswiki too.
