Hi Robert. Excellent work. In how far is it related and/or compatible with
LdapContrib?
How about adding a screenshot of the plugin in action?

Hey Michael.
Excellent is the wrong word I fear.
It is FAR from what I have in mind and I'm working on a concept for a major refactoring, because without it further development will be horror.
Also its not tested like it should but I released it to get some feedback. (I'm new to perl/foswiki/large projects in general so feedback is very welcome)
But thank you, even if I don't commit often, I work steadily on it.
Now to your questions:
1. It needs
LdapContrib and
LdapUserMapping for one of its macros at the moment.
Also it offers an option to use
LdapContribs connection settings, because Its connection method to the LDAP server is a modified version of
LdapContribs ldapConnect, but it also can use settings for another server indepentend from
LdapContrib.
I aim to make it robust enough so that
LdapContrib could take over some of its methods to manipulate LDAP data, so that I dont neet a wrapper class around NET::LDAP as a whole.
This will need some time and maybe it is not needed.
The problem is, that I don't want to break anything working already. Also the
LdapContrib does not aim to manipulate data, for now this separation works fine.
2. A screenshot from the plugin in action... well I would be a bit embarrassed because the renderer I use at the moment was made in a hurry and produces ugly output. (Next reason for a refactoring)
So, there is much work to come thanks for looking at it.
