I have been quite enthusiastic about Wikis in general since I was a student. I actually first came across T(m)wiki in about 2000, in my first job after graduation. It looked like a great program - I really liked the idea of DataForms and of a powerful macro language (TML). I didn't start using the program at the time. About one year ago, I came across Foswiki being used in another department at my current employer. I have built a Foswiki site for my department and am also currently working on a personal site for my Base Ball team.
What do I want?

What can I do?
I'm a pretty strong Perl developer, but this Javascript stuff is pretty new to me ... I've managed to hack out a few things, but I have a lot more to learn.
Why do I want to do it?
The project is mature and has a lot of features - this is not some fledgling program that will take a lot of work to be usable. At the same time, I think that I can contribute and make a difference.
I'm quite interested in cognition, and about how collaboration technologies can really impact how we think and communicate.
