Date Of Commitment

As defined in the release process the 14-day auto acceptance rule does not apply unless a proposal has one or more developers committed to implementing the feature if it gets accepted.

The Date of Commitment is important, as the 14-day rule of auto acceptance (given that no one has raised concern against the feature or its spec) starts from the day developers say on the proposal topic that they are committed to eventually implement the proposed feature.

Typically it is the developers themselves that creates the proposal topic, and then they must remember to add the Date of Commitment.
