Mail template: "Thank you for your Cheers!"

How to reply

This is the text of the generic email that we usually send out to thank users for their verbal support. We try to add individualized text or have someone send an additional email that responds to any specifics within the supporter's letter.

Hi [First name of user],

Thank you so much for your support: it feels great to be acknowledged by the community, and it is an important motivation for all of us to receive your thanks and appreciation. Thanks for helping us keep up our momentum!

If you are willing, we would appreciate any public statement of support you can make, such as adding a testimonial to our growing list:

You can easily add it yourself after registering on www.foswiki.org, if you haven't already. You can register on the registration page:

http://www.foswiki.org/System/UserRegistration

Alternatively, if you give your permission, we can add a statement for you based on your email (removing any private or personal data that you specify). Please note that we fully understand if you do not wish to make a public statement at this time.

If you would like to help us even further, please consider a donation to our project. Every Euro / dollar / your favourite form of currency counts. See the following link for details:

We also welcome any time and energy you can provide to Foswiki. Please see the following page for more information:

Please stay in touch with our project through our web site, http://www.foswiki.org/, as we continue to work on bringing you new releases of a high quality, flexible, multi-purpose collaboration tool that you've come to rely upon. It has been truly rewarding to hear about how you've benefited from our labours -- thanks again for letting us know that our efforts have been put to good use!

Best regards,
