Mailing lists
There are several mailing lists hosted on sourceforge.
This is the mailing list all Foswiki users should subscribe to. We keep the traffic to an absolute minimum. Maybe one posting per month. Security alerts are posted to this list.
This list is used for:
- Announcements of Foswiki releases
- Announcements of security alerts
Submit security issues to this list. You
cannot subscribe to this list - only the
security team members can see postings - so it can be used to warn us of potential security problems. Security alerts are announced in the foswiki-announce mailing list. (The security procedure is outlined under
SecurityAlertProcess)
When the security team deals with your post it will answer you directly so you can follow the progress of your alert.
This mailing list is the community discussion mailing list where we discuss most anything. It has 1-20 postings per day.
This is the mailing list all developers with Subversion access should subscribe to.
All Subversion checkins are automatically posted here. This is also where developers comment on checkins that require more work or raise concerns.
A test server runs the unit tests and reports failures to this mailing list.
The volume is relatively high. Sometimes more than 20 postings per day.
